Student Wellbeing and Agency is a core part of ITSW's approach. The Wellbeing & Student Agency program gives students space to express themselves, make decisions, and co-create their school life. The program is supported by a student government, personalized teacher care, and the presence of a wellbeing coach and specialists. It emphasizes emotional and social growth, helping students develop empathy, resilience, and agency to navigate a rapidly changing world. ITSW aims for students to feel part of a community that supports growth in harmony with themselves.
ITSW uses three-language instruction: English, Polish, and a third language (French, Spanish, Chinese, or Japanese) across core subjects. The trilingual path uses the OPOL (One Person – One Language) method and language immersion to develop literacy and cognitive skills in all three languages. A common curriculum is delivered in English, Polish, and the chosen third language, with computer science and STEAM taught in English. Native-speaking teachers and educational specialists support students across ages. The program develops trilingual proficiency and 21st-century competencies, preparing students for local and international education. Language profiles are tailored to each student as they progress through nursery to middle school.

The International Trilingual School of Warsaw (ITSW) Karowa Campus is located in Warsaw’s historic center, near the Copernicus Science Centre. The school operates a trilingual immersion model where students receive instruction in English, Polish, and a third elective language—French, Spanish, or Chinese. The curriculum integrates the British National Curriculum and the Polish Ministry of Education standards, with certain tracks incorporating American and French educational components. Students rotate through different languages on specific days of the week, learning core subjects like mathematics and science from native speakers in multiple languages. The Karowa facility features dedicated spaces for music and art, utilizing its proximity to the University of Warsaw library gardens for outdoor learning. A unique feature is the "simultaneous trilingualism" program, which ensures children achieve literacy and numeracy in three languages concurrently, rather than learning additional languages as isolated subjects. This approach is supported by a multicultural teaching staff representing over fifteen nationalities.
