Parent Experience

Community, involvement and what it's like to be a parent at this school

History

The school is a new private institution formed to meet the need for quality education and to respond to the expectations of parents and students who collaborate with us. Our educational experience dates back to 2009, when the Private Preschool and Creative Development Center Rainbow Land in Szczecin was established, followed by Szczecin Vitruvian SVS School, which in 2019 received accreditation from the International Baccalaureate to teach under the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme. The philosophy of the Vitruvian SVS School aims to shape students to achieve success in learning and in life, stimulating their curiosity about the world, creativity, and sensitivity to the experiences of others. LO SVS educates students to meet the challenges of the 21st century in a changing global world and to face increasingly demanding realities. We provide many modern tools to develop linguistic, cognitive, and research skills.

Community

The school supports the social, emotional, and cultural development of its students through school and extracurricular initiatives. We shape attitudes such as sensitivity to the needs of others, openness, intercultural understanding, and responsibility for the environment. Bilingual instruction—lessons are conducted in two languages, Polish and English—includes language immersion, so English becomes a natural language. We continually expand the English-language library and equip classrooms with English-language teaching materials. Clubs and activities strengthen individuality and student interests; we offer tailor-made classes, subject clubs, and a ‘develop your wings' program to help students discover talents, find passions, and prepare for their future careers. On request, the school provides two-course lunches prepared by a catering company, with meat dishes, vegetarian options, and salads.
