Szczecin International School is a private primary and secondary school offering the International Baccalaureate (IB) continuum for Primary, Middle Years and Diploma. English is the language of instruction in almost all subjects, and Polish, German, English and Danish are taught as languages and literature, with other foreign languages available. IB accreditation began with the Diploma Programme in 2005, and Primary and Middle levels were accredited in 2021, enabling an IB pathway across the school. The curriculum uses a transdisciplinary approach with Personal Projects and project‑based learning to develop key competences and prepare students for higher education and global citizenship.
The school supports arts and creativity through after‑school activity, including a school band with teachers who play instruments such as drums and guitar. Pupils organize and participate in creative events such as Christmas productions and a school talent show, and develop imaginative projects (e.g., RPG games). Diploma exhibitions and school projects provide opportunities for artistic expression and collaboration across the student body. Creativity is integrated with other learning experiences and international initiatives.
