Facilities Overview

SVS School is located in two buildings in the center of Szczecin at Mickiewicza Street 49 and 51, with adjacent green areas. The campus spans 1,700 m2 and provides free parking and a full-size gym. School facilities guarantee safety and comfort for children. All classrooms are spacious and bright and equipped with teaching aids including multimedia equipment such as interactive whiteboards and projectors. Class sizes are up to 18 students. The school operates Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 17:00, with lessons from 08:00 to 15:00.

Sports Facilities

On-site facilities include a full-size gym. The school offers four hours of sports per week and one hour of swimming. In winter, activities include weekly ice skating sessions.

Academic Facilities

Teaching program: The Primary Years Programme (PYP) is an International Baccalaureate program for children aged 3 to 12. The school plans to implement the IB program and is pursuing PYP candidate status. The program emphasizes inquiry-based learning, integrated content, and student initiative, guided by the IB pupil profile. Instruction is organized into thematic units across six cross-disciplinary themes: Who we are? Where are we in time and space? How do we express ourselves? How does the world work? How are we organized? and a shared central theme. The school aims to obtain formal accreditation to fully implement the IBO program.

Extra-Curricular Activities

English-language support is provided for pupils with varying English proficiency, including mid-year entry support. Music, movement and other activity sessions support holistic development. Tuition covers a small class size (up to 18 students) with instruction by a native English-speaking teacher implementing the IBO programme, plus trips to theatres, museums, cinemas and nature tours. Clubs and circles of interest include art, math, theatre and sports, with transport to/from school and access to a psychologist and other specialists; monthly consultations for parents.
