Language Provision

The school teaches a mix of British and international curricula; Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is used in the Early Years; Primary uses the English National Curriculum and International Primary Curriculum (IPC); Secondary uses the English National Curriculum with IGCSEs; Upper Secondary follows the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP). Polish is an integral part of the academic programme. From Year 2 to Year 11, native Polish students follow a curriculum based on the Polish Podstawa Programowa and approved by the Ministry of Education, with end-of-year Polish certificates (Świadectwo). For non-native students, Polish is introduced as an additional foreign language from Year 1. From Year 4, all students can choose between French, German, and Spanish. There is an English as an Additional Language (EAL) programme to support newcomers with little or no English, and most teachers are native English speakers.
