Located in the heart of Warsaw, Warsaw Montessori High School is an international high school that blends Maria Montessori philosophy with the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. In Pre-IB (first and second grade), the program blends the Polish national curriculum with the IB Learner Profile; the language of instruction is English, and extended English is offered along with Creative Writing, Academic Skills (including academic writing), Latin, Visual Arts and Drama, with standard or extended mathematics. Regular place-based pedagogy includes workshops in the kitchen and carpentry shop to foster practical skills and community involvement. In the IB Diploma Programme (third and fourth grade), the curriculum is delivered in accordance with IB World Schools standards; students choose six courses from six groups: Languages A (Polish Literature and English Language and Literature; self-taught native languages Ukrainian, Russian, Spanish; or another native language learned outside of school), Languages B (English HL and French/German/Spanish SL/HL/Ab Initio), Individuals and Societies (Economics, Geography, History, Psychology SL/HL), Experimental Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Physics SL/HL), Mathematics (Applications and Interpretations and Analysis and Approaches SL/HL), and The Arts (Visual Arts SL/HL).
Our graduates are mature young people studying at universities all over the world. In May 2025, 18 WMHS graduates sat the IB DP final exams and many graduates plan to study abroad in Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and Switzerland, with some continuing education in Poland.

Recruitment to Pre-IB (first and second grade) and to the IB Diploma Programme (IB DP, third grade) is organized in two categories. For the 2026/2027 school year, recruitment is open; written exams will take place on March 28 and interviews on April 18. Applications may be submitted now. Entrance exams are conducted in two sessions: the first in March, followed by supplementary recruitment at the end of June. New students are welcome throughout the school year and follow an individual recruitment process; all candidates take the same exams and must meet the same requirements. Contracts signed by the end of April include the current tuition fees; contracts signed later will be based on the new rates for the 2026/2027 school year. Open Days are offered to learn about the school. For Pre-IB, candidates take English, Mathematics, and Polish (for native Polish speakers) and participate in an English-language oral interview. For IB DP, candidates take Mathematics and English (English B and English A) and participate in an English-language oral interview; in the final stage, the choice of HL subjects is verified based on grades, an interview, an assignment or an exam, with an individual approach to the candidate.
