Introduction

Warsaw Montessori Middle School (WMMS) serves students in grades 6 through 8, following the Montessori "Erdkinder" (children of the earth) curriculum. Located in Warsaw’s Mokotów district, the school utilizes its proximity to Royal Łazienki Park for outdoor learning and historical studies. A signature feature of the program is the Montessori Farm School in Podlasie, a residential facility where students live and work for several weeks each year. During these stays, students manage a household, operate small businesses, and care for farm animals, including chickens, bees, and goats. The academic program is conducted in English and Polish, with additional instruction in Spanish, German, or French. Students engage in practical projects such as maintaining vegetable gardens and participating in community service initiatives. This campus shares its site with the Montessori Toddler School, fostering a community where older students interact with younger peers in a shared educational environment.
