International Sharing School Madeira (ISS Madeira) is an IB World School offering the Primary Years Programme, Middle Years Programme and Diploma Programme. Billing schedule and payment terms
- Invoicing options: Monthly, Termly or Annually, chosen by the family. Termly fees use Annual / 3; Monthly fees use Annual / 10.
- Term invoicing schedule (ongoing students):
- Term 1 invoice: 1 June 2026 — due 1 July 2026.
- Term 2 invoice: 2 November 2026 — due 2 December 2026.
- Term 3 invoice: 1 March 2027 — due 1 April 2027.
- Monthly fees: invoiced 13 days before the month begins; payment due by the 2nd of the invoiced month.
- Renewal fee invoicing: invoiced 1 February (payment due by 26 February).
- Late payment penalties: 5% monthly compounded fine on payments past the due date; legal recovery costs and restricted access to certain school services may apply for overdue accounts. All fees must be received net of bank charges. Cash payments are not accepted in accordance with Portuguese legislation.
- Discounts: sibling discounts (10% for 2 siblings; 15% for 3; 20% for 4 or more). 3% discount on annual tuition if full annual payment is received by 1 July 2026. Discounts are void if fees are not paid according to the payment schedule.

- After‑school activities: offered at additional cost; each activity requires a full‑term commitment and the full term fee is payable even if the student withdraws before the end of the term.
- Student support (additional learning support): a fee may apply when extra educational psychologist–based interventions or specialist support are required; the amount is determined case‑by‑case.

Refund and withdrawal policy
- The Enrolment Fee and any payments made to the school are non‑refundable under any circumstance. If a student does not attend at the beginning of the school year, the Enrolment Fee and Term 1 fees are not refundable.
- Notice of withdrawal: parents/guardians must notify the school in writing at admissions@madeira.sharingschool.org one full term before the student's intended departure. Failure to give one full term's notice will result in charges for the subsequent term. Temporary suspensions or permanent expulsions do not entitle any refund.

- Accepted payment methods: Bank transfer (student name and number must be included on the transfer); Debit/Credit card payments accepted in person at the school office (Visa and Mastercard); Educational vouchers accepted (Edenred, Coverflex, Ticket). 2. Book a School Tour. Take a 60-minute tour to get to know ISS Madeira in person or online. The Admissions Team can help schedule the tour and answer questions about the community and the IB Programme. The tour offers insight into learning spaces and school culture. The tour helps families understand how ISS Madeira supports student growth.

3. Submit Final Application. Submit the application form on OpenApply and upload the most recent report cards. The Admissions Team reviews submissions and may request additional information. You will receive guidance during the submission process to ensure documents are complete. Once submitted, you will be contacted about the next steps.

4. Assessment & Interview. After submission, an interview will be conducted. An assessment may be requested. The Admissions Team coordinates scheduling for interviews and any tests. The process helps determine fit for the IB Programme and grade level.

5. Confirmation of Enrolment. Enrolments are only confirmed once the school confirms it has received payment for all invoiced fees. This ensures the enrolment is finalized. You will receive written confirmation once payment is acknowledged. The Admissions Team remains available to assist with any fee-related questions.
