Cultural and Language

La Section Internationale Portugaise au LFCL (SiP) begins in Seconde and is a preferred pathway for entry into the BFI; it targets organized, autonomous students with an interest in literature and languages. In Portuguese, SiP includes 4 hours of Portuguese (4h in the general section plus 2h specific to SiP) and 4 hours of History-Geography (2h in French and 2h in Portuguese); in English, the hours remain 3, but methodological and literary-analysis foundations are developed. Applications for SiP are online via Pronote, followed by an oral interview in Portuguese, French and English, a written comprehension/expression test, and results announced at the end of the term. From 1re to terminale, BFI adds two new subjects (CDM in Portuguese and ACL in English) with continued tronc commun and specialized courses, and future pathways to foreign study.

Social and Hobbies

Nosle s'engagent highlights student involvement in life at LFCL, including the LycE9e Life Council (CVL) and the College Life Council (CVC). The CVL comprises 10 lycée students and 10 adults and voices student priorities, proposing projects such as organizing sports tournaments; the CVC mirrors this for the collège and initiates projects like Christmas drives for associations. Ambassadeurs contre le harc19lement (ACH) are student resources trained to raise awareness and intervene in cases of harassment; Les JRI are young AEFE reporters who cover events and publish their productions; eco-dE9lE9guE9s are class-based eco-leaders driving sustainability projects.

Community and Service

LFCL communities are active in volunteer and social initiatives through student leadership bodies (CVL, CVC), ACH, JRI and eco-dE9lE9guE9s; annual activities include charitable collection drives such as Christmas collections for associations, and organized community projects by student groups. These initiatives foster service, social responsibility and collaboration across levels of the school. The school emphasizes student-led community engagement as part of daily life and extended projects.

Leadership and Professional

Leadership is promoted by the CVL and CVC student bodies, giving students a voice in school life and in planning events and projects. The ACH network trains student resources to address harassment and support peers; JRI provides opportunities to report on cultural, sports and educational events as young AEFE reporters; eco-dE9lE9guE9s lead ecology and sustainable development initiatives to develop leadership and project-management skills.

Lifestyle and Wellbeing

The LFCL Association Sportive offers badminton, table tennis and volleyball as three active sports options; registrations and payments are online via HelloAsso, with a 60 euro membership to cover travel, facilities, equipment and events. Activities run from October 6, 2025 to June 5, 2026 (subject to change for surf). The program emphasizes physical well-being, teamwork, discipline and active participation in school life.
