Through its City as Our Classroom approach, learning is connected to Lisbon's culture and community. The Lisboan is a member of COBIS and will work towards CIS and WASC accreditation, and it is part of Artemis Education.
Through our partnership with Atlético CP, students have access to top-tier athletic facilities and coaching. Forest School is supported by Monsanto Forest Park as an extension of the classroom, enabling outdoor education and ecological learning. Rock climbing is introduced in partnership with Escala25. Padell is offered through Clube de Padel Alcântara. Music education is enhanced through a collaboration with the Lisbon Metropolitan Orchestra.
The Lisboan combines the Cambridge International Curriculum with the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, progressing to IGCSEs and the IB Diploma Programme from 2027. The Lisboan International School is a British international school in central Lisbon. Opened in September 2025, it currently serves students from FS1 to Year 10, following the Cambridge International Curriculum and progressing to Cambridge IGCSE examinations at the end of Year 11. From 2027 it will offer the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme. The school occupies a historic building in Alcântara that has been renovated into flexible, innovative learning spaces powered by solar energy and designed for low energy use. The City as Our Classroom approach links learning to Lisbon's culture and community, fostering curiosity, confidence and global citizenship. The Artemis Education network supports the school, alongside COBIS membership and ongoing accreditation work toward CIS and WASC.
