AMAB uses a school uniform. A new uniform was introduced, featuring polo shirts and a modern, durable design. The KG polo shirt is shown in the new uniform imagery, and uniform guidelines are published for parents.
AMAB operates a house system to foster teamwork and school spirit. Pupils are assigned to one of two houses: Salahuddin Stallions and Khawarizmi Camels, each with its own identity and mascot. Inter-house competitions occur throughout the year and provide leadership opportunities within the houses.
Al Maha Academy for Boys is part of the Ta'allum Group, a network of academies in Qatar. The Ta'allum Group describes itself as a group of premier educational institutions.
