BIIS Doha uses a formal uniform policy. Daily wear requires white shirts with dark bottoms (boys in trousers, girls in skirts or trousers); hijab for girls may be white or black. Belts and identity cards are required, and shoes should be black. On Thursdays, all students wear the sports uniform with white shoes.
BIIS operates a House Groups system as part of its co-curricular program. Students participate in House Groups and elect Student Council leaders; house activities include sports and cultural events, with inter-school competitions as a feature of enrichment programs.
BIIS Doha is licensed by Qatar's Ministry of Education and Higher Education. It is part of the Al-Azhar Group of Institutions, which established BIIS in Qatar in 2021. In May 2024, the group expanded its Qatar presence by assuming the management of Scholars International School.
Brilliant Indian International School (BIIS) is a CBSE Indian international school in Al Duhail, Doha, Qatar. It was established in 2021 by the Al-Azhar Group and is licensed by the Qatar Ministry of Education and Higher Education. BIIS serves kindergarten (KG1–KG2) and primary grades (Grade 1–6) with co-educational classes. The school follows the CBSE curriculum, and English is the language of instruction. Hindi, Malayalam, Arabic and Tamil are taught as second/foreign languages. The campus features air-conditioned, smart classrooms, a library, science laboratories and sports facilities, and it operates a bus service with term-based transport fees. The school emphasizes values-based education and a stress-free environment, with regular co-curricular activities and enrichment programs. Student leadership exists through House Groups and a Student Council, including Ambassadors for the MOEHE initiative “My Value Shapes My Identity.” The principal is Mr. Abdul Aziz U, and the school currently educates about 600 pupils.
