1. Understand the programmes and eligibility. Etqan Global Academy offers the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (PYP) and Middle Years Programme (MYP) for students from kindergarten through middle school, with plans to expand through high school. The school is a candidate for additional IB programmes (Career-related Programme and Diploma Programme). Admissions are not highly selective; students who can learn under normal circumstances are accepted. There is a government education voucher available (QNSA) for eligible Qatari students.
2. Learn about language of instruction and curriculum. The IB curriculum is taught in English, and the Arabic Department curriculum is taught in Arabic, with emphasis on Arabic language and cultural studies. Applicants to Grade 1 and above are required to pass an academic assessment in Arabic, English, and Math.
