Olive International School Doha was established in September 2014, starting with 50 students in Pre-KG to Grade 2. It is governed by executive leaders including a Chief Patron, Saleh Abdulla M A Al-Sulaiti, and a Chairman, Devis Edakulathur, as part of the Patrician network that operates schools globally. The school holds CBSE accreditation and is publicly disclosed as CBSE-accredited with Qatar's education authorities (QNSA). By the early 2020s, Olive International School had expanded to five Doha campuses: Abu Hamour, Kharaitiyat, Nuaija, Al Thumama, and Umm Salal Ali. The school celebrated its seventh anniversary in 2021 and its tenth annual day in 2023, reflecting growth across campuses and continued student achievement.

There is no formal standalone PTA; parent involvement is organized through an internal structure referred to as PPTM and through volunteering opportunities. In 2025 Olive International School launched the Olivian Alumni Association to connect alumni with current students and support school programs.
