Pearling Season International School was founded in September 2014. It serves students from pre-school through Year 13. In 2021, a second campus was opened in Al Gharrafa to accommodate more students. The student body comprises over 50 nationalities, and the majority of teaching staff are from the United Kingdom, with Arabic and French taught by suitably qualified native speakers. The school upholds core values of respect, care, cooperation, integrity, and responsibility.
The PSI community includes students from more than 50 nationalities, contributing to a diverse and international environment. In 2017, International Day celebrations brought together students and families from many countries, featuring 14 national booths and numerous performances. The school engages with external partners and community groups, such as Best Buddies Qatar, which organized inclusive activities for PSI students at both Mansoura and Gharrafa campuses. Environmental and service initiatives are also part of school life, including eco projects and tree-planting campaigns.
Pearling Season International School maintains an active Parent Teacher Association with branches for Al Gharrafa and Al Mansoura campuses. The PTA involves parents, teachers, and staff in governance, volunteering, fundraising, and classroom support. It organizes events, programs, and activities that enrich learning and build a sense of community. PTA participation is complemented by collaboration with the school administration to identify needs and opportunities for parent involvement. An example of PTA-linked community activity is the 2017 International Day, a staff- and parent-led celebration featuring country booths, performances, and activities. The school also participates in wider community events, such as Best Buddies Qatar activities involving PSI students from both campuses.
Pearling Season International School of Doha comprises two campuses, the main site in Al Mansoura and a second campus in Al Gharrafa. The school serves students aged 3 to 18 and offers the British curriculum, including IPC for the primary years, Cambridge IGCSE, Cambridge International AS Levels and Cambridge A Levels, with Pearson Edexcel IGCSE as an option. Established in 2014, the school expanded to a second campus in 2021, welcoming a diverse student body from over 50 nationalities and a largely UK-based teaching staff. Arabic and French are taught by native speakers. Facilities include two indoor heated swimming pools, a 50-meter pool and a children's pool, an AstroTurf football pitch, a basketball court and a multipurpose hall, with classrooms designed to support focused learning and safety measures supported by lifeguards. An Additional Learning Needs (ALN) department integrates ALN students into mainstream classes. Enrichment activities such as Literacy Week, STEAM Week, and sustainability initiatives broaden learning beyond the classroom.
