1. Online admission: Qatar Academy Al Khor opens admissions for the coming academic year 2026-27. The school is a member of Qatar Foundation. Ages are calculated by 30 September. Applicants must apply online via the online admission portal. 2. Submission of supplementary requirements: the online admission form requires uploading documents including a passport-sized photograph, end-of-year reports (for Kindergarten, the most recent report from Nursery or Pre-K is acceptable), the applicant's passport, birth certificate, valid QID, each parent's passport and QID, and a medical form; a leaving certificate is required for students transferring during the year; a visa may be required for non-GCC nationals. The school may contact previous schools to obtain confidential reports as part of the process. 3. Non-refundable application fee: QR 500 non-refundable, invoiced electronically by email and payable online via the applicant status page. 4. Checklist items pending: if any documents are missing, an email lists the outstanding items and parents are asked to complete them on the application status page. 5. On-site admissions screening and entry assessments: admission depends on meeting age requirements and demonstrating fluency in English and Arabic; Arabic is considered the mother tongue for students; for KG to Grade 11, admission involves a written test and/or interview; preschool applicants may be admitted after an interview. 6. Registration: QR 3,000 non-refundable registration fee is due after submitting the required documents; to guarantee a seat, registration must be completed within 3 working days. 7. Admission policy & selection criteria: new or wait pool students are admitted according to seat availability and Qatar Foundation priority policy, with preference given to siblings of current QAK students, children of teaching staff hired to QF schools for the coming year, and to new Qatari students without siblings.
