It's best to ask — circumstances can change at any time.
Qatar Academy Doha uses an online admission form accessed via qad.openapply.com. After completing the online form you receive an email confirming that an account has been created and containing login details. No admission decision can be made prior to the completion of the online application process. Supplementary application requirements must be scanned and submitted within the online form, including a recent passport-sized photograph of the student and three end-of-year reports (for Kindergarten, the most recent report from Nursery or Pre-K). The school reserves the right to contact previous schools and request a confidential report to inform the admissions decision. All students must be registered by the Admissions Officer; registration is not complete until the required forms are returned and the appropriate fees are paid. Prospective parents may visit Qatar Academy Doha by appointment through the Admissions Office. Qatar Academy Doha considers students aged at least three and not older than seventeen on 1 September of the academic year. Entry to all age groups is by selection; the Admissions Committee uses screening tools to assess the student's academic and social suitability. The entrance test is designed to select students of above-average ability, and all students must meet entry requirements for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.
New or wait pool students will be admitted according to seat availability and Qatar Foundation priority policy while maintaining nationality percentages and gender balance. Priority order is: Overseas QAD staff (not applicable for nurseries); Qatari siblings; non-Qatari siblings; Qatari QF staff; non-Qatari QF staff; Qatari public; non-Qatari public.
