Qatar Academy Msheireb places the well-being of the whole child at the center of its Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) approach, supported by a dedicated Student Support Team and a wellbeing coach, with pastoral care practiced by all staff.
SEN provision includes Learning Support in English and Arabic through a three-tier model, English as an Additional Language, Arabic as an Additional Language, speech and language sessions in collaboration with families, decisions guided by observations and standardized assessments, and access to psychologist and occupational therapy services through The Learning Center, with the Student Support Team creating customized learning paths.
English as an Additional Language (EAL) is supported by the Student Support Team as part of a dual-language learning environment, including dedicated EAL services.
A wellbeing coach attends to social-emotional and behavioral aspects of students, all staff participate in pastoral care to foster wellbeing, and external services include a weekly psychologist and an occupational therapist as needed.
QF schools maintain safeguarding and child protection policies, with trained staff and counselling support available to students.
