Queen's Qatar was founded in 2024 as Artemis Education's first British international school. It opened its doors in October 2024 with its first cohort of students from FS1 to Year 9. The school operates within the Artemis Education family and plans to extend to Year 13, delivering IGCSEs in Years 10–11 followed by A Levels. The campus is located in Al Markhiya, Doha, and the founding principal is Ann Djedid. The curriculum follows a tailored version of the English National Curriculum, aligned with the Dimensions and Fusion frameworks, with COBIS membership and accreditation progress toward BSO and QNSA by 2026.
Queen's Qatar welcomes students and families from all cultures and backgrounds to join its inclusive international community. The Artemis Experience enriches school life with co-curricular activities and community engagement, including Artemis Academies for sport, music and drama and Artemex Adventures for local and international trips. The program emphasizes families and the local community, with the campus described as a space for family use and engagement beyond academics. Prospective families are invited to campus tours and events, including opportunities to meet the senior leadership team and participate in open days.
Public materials describe family involvement through the Artemis Experience rather than a formal PTA. The Artemis Experience centers on families and the local community and offers after-hours access to campus facilities for family use. Artemex Academies provide pathways in sport, music and drama, and Artemex Adventures offer local and international trips that involve families around the student experience.
