Let the school know you're thinking of applying — they can share their prerequisites and help you through the process.
It's best to ask — circumstances can change at any time.
AIS-Al-Wadi opened in September 2013 with more than 300 students in KG1 through Grade 9. The school admits both boys and girls, with separate sections from Grade 1 in line with local regulations. It was established to address demand for places at AIS-Sulaimaniah and is the second SABIS-managed school in Riyadh. AIS-Al-Wadi is a member of the global SABIS Network, which began in 1886 and now operates in 20 countries. The school uses English-medium instruction as part of the SABIS system.
AIS-Al-Wadi participates in the SABIS Student Life Organization (SLO), a structured, prefect-led program that organizes student life activities in collaboration with staff. The school hosts SLO-led events such as Smile Day and Mental Health Awareness Day (both 2022) and the Newcomers Welcoming event (August 2024), where SLO prefects greet new students with welcome cards, tours, and games. These activities foster community and well-being, and family involvement is visible in events like the KG Winter Show, where mothers are invited to attend, and in parent participation at Art Exhibitions and Music Concerts.
Public materials describe parent involvement at AIS-Al-Wadi mostly through events rather than a formally named PTA. A publicly visible example is the KG Winter Show, where mothers are invited to attend performances by Pre-KG to KG students. Parents are also invited to attend and participate in school events such as Art Exhibitions and Music Concerts, with parents sharing positive feedback about these events. The SABIS Student Life Organization (SLO) provides a framework for family involvement during school events. In practice, parent engagement is active and evident in events like exhibitions and concerts, even though a dedicated PTA body is not publicly listed.
