AGS follows the Cambridge Pathway from Kindergarten through Grade 8. For Grades 9–12, students may pursue the Cambridge IGCSE pathway (Grades 9–10) and the A‑Levels (Grades 11–12) or switch to the NGCC American pathway for high school. The school is accredited by Cognia and the American International Accreditation Association of Schools and Colleges and operates as a Cambridge Examinations Centre and SAT Center. English is the medium of instruction; Arabic and French are taught as languages, and Islamic Studies and Quran are included in National Identity subjects.
AGS provides an Art Studio and a Main Library to support creative work and inquiry-based learning. The Auditorium serves as a venue for school assemblies, performances, and guest lectures. The arts spaces enable students to engage in visual arts, drama, and other creative projects across grade levels.
