The DISJ provides light, fully equipped classrooms with projectors from year 1. The library houses more than 5,000 books, magazines, DVDs and games available for borrowing. Natural science rooms are equipped for Biology, Physics and Chemistry with optics, mechanics, and microscopy equipment. A Music Room with a piano, drums and percussion instruments, a Language Room for small-group work, and an Art & Crafts Room support creative and language learning. The campus includes a gymnasium and a pool, a refitted schoolyard with shaded areas and a large sports field, and a cafeteria; buses transport students to and from the school.
The gymnasium offers space for physical education, movement breaks, and stage performances such as the talent show. The pool is used in winter to earn swimming badges and for the swimming festival. The schoolyard was refurbished in 2018 and provides shady areas, table-tennis, and a spacious sports field.

Primary subjects include German, Mathematics, Science & Social Studies, Arabic (as mother tongue or foreign language), Art, Music, and Physical Education, with electives available. In Secondary I, an orientation phase in grade 5 determines placement among Hauptschule, Realschule, or Gymnasium, with exams for transition to the GIB at the end of grade 10. Upper School offers the Gemischtsprachiges Internationales Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (GIB-DP) for Grades 11-12, with bilingual education in German and English and a range of subject groups; core elements include CAS, TOK, and the Extended Essay. The GIB-DP is recognized as equivalent to the German Abitur and opens university access worldwide.
In the afternoons, students can join a wide range of clubs (AGs) or attend supervised homework sessions. Language and culture camps in Germany are offered during holidays. The Upper School hosts a talent show where students perform on stage. Through the GIB-DP, CAS, TOK, and the Extended Essay foster ongoing, structured extracurricular development.
