Nün Academy was founded in 2016 and is headquartered in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The organization operates online and on-site programs, with a Canada-based presence in North York, Ontario. In partnership with Kunskapsskolan Education (KED) from Sweden, it offers an international, bilingual curriculum and a 'Glocal' approach. Nün Academy is a Candidate School for the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, reflecting a commitment to high-quality international standards.
Nün Academy has a diverse, globally minded school community that welcomes students from different cultures and backgrounds. Student life includes events such as a ski trip, an Arabic show, sports and athletics days, a student council, a music recital, book week, and a science fair. Parent and family engagement is supported through regular communications and events, including in-person Development Discussions (parent–student–teacher meetings). Online and on-site learning formats connect learners across campuses, enriching the community across geographical boundaries.
Nün Academy does not publish a separate PTA, but parent involvement is organized around formal collaborative sessions such as Development Discussions. Development Discussions are the in-person Parent–Student–Teacher Meetings that were scheduled for December 2025 at the school (December 17–18, 2025). These meetings bring together parents, students, and teachers to review progress and set learning goals. Announcements and school posts highlight opportunities for family participation in events and activities, reflecting active family engagement. Family engagement is further reflected in features like 'Meet The Family' and regular event updates. Overall, parent involvement is integrated into school activities and governance through these programs rather than a standalone PTA.
