The Korean Department delivers a curriculum aligned with the national Korean system and offers IGCSE Korean and IB Korean. Spanish and French are offered as modern languages, and Latin is taught as part of the language program, with IB/IGCSE options where relevant.
NLCS Jeju serves boys and girls aged 4–18. English is the language of instruction for the vast majority of subjects; all classes are taught in English (other than languages). The school states that all students are at least bilingual, with a strong emphasis on elevating English fluency while helping students maintain their first language. The Korean language program includes IGCSE Korean and IB Korean under the Korean national curriculum.
NLCS Jeju provides an English-immersion learning environment, with all non-language subjects taught in English. In Junior School, teachers note that many students have English as a second language and encourage using English across the curriculum while maintaining their mother tongue. The school also offers international partnerships, exchanges, and language trips with sister NLCS campuses (including Jeju and Dubai), which support immersion and intercultural experiences. These immersion features are complemented by language-support approaches for non-native speakers.
