Academic and Intellectual

Agora Barcelona International School runs an extensive extracurricular programme designed to maximise physical, intellectual and social development. Robotics develops students' strategic thinking and scientific understanding through practical, multidisciplinary learning. The school participates in Globeducate's Academic Olympics, science, maths and language Olympiads in a multilingual, international context. The International Baccalaureate provides a comprehensive, well-regarded academic qualification that supports students' higher education goals.

Arts and Creative

Music instruction is provided by Agora Barcelona International School's Music School in collaboration with the Escolania de Montserrat and affiliated with the Liceu Music School, offering Basic Level and Advanced Level Diplomas. STEAM activities blend science and arts as a core part of the programme. The International Music Festival gives students a platform to showcase musical talents. An Arts Competition enables students to demonstrate creativity across media.

Cultural and Language

Language classes are offered in English, German and Chinese, taught by native teachers with small class sizes suitable for all ages. The curriculum includes immersion in English and other official languages, with courses also available in French, German and Chinese, and instruction delivered in English, Castellano and Catalan. Globeducate exchanges and trips provide opportunities for international exposure and overseas experiences. Exchanges and Stays Abroad offer year-long exchanges with England, Ireland, France and the USA, a one-week exchange for Primary 5 with Stonar School, and summer camp abroad.

Social and Hobbies

The programme includes music, sport, languages, cooking and robotics for pupils from age 3 and up, with activities available to non-enrolled children and the general public. The Sports Centre enables a wide range of activities, including tennis, paddle, roller-skating, hockey and swimming, complemented by a 25-metre indoor pool. Cooking is listed among the extracurricular offerings. Music and language activities foster social engagement and community participation beyond the classroom.

Community and Service

Posidonia Experience is a unique project to raise awareness about preserving seas and oceans, including workshops, talks, excursions and a PADI diving course. Body Mind & Spirit offers programmes focused on emotional wellbeing, resilience and concentration. Exchanges and Stays Abroad foster cultural immersion and international collaboration within Globeducate. The collaboration with organisations such as the Vellmarí Association, National Geographic Education, Palma Aquarium Foundation, IMEDEA and Baleària underscores the community partnerships underpinning Agora's programmes.

Leadership and Professional

Globeducate International Events include Model United Nations, where pupils debate global issues in English, and the Student Leadership Summit, designed to develop leadership skills and public speaking. Academic Olympics and Iberia CUP provide opportunities to lead and collaborate in science, maths, language and sport within an international context. Exchanges and Stays Abroad also cultivate leadership and independence through international experiences.

Lifestyle and Wellbeing

The Sports Centre offers a broad programme of activities, with options such as tennis, paddle, roller-skating, hockey and swimming; the 25-metre indoor pool supports physical development. Agora emphasises healthy habits, emotional balance and teamwork as part of its Sports and Well-being focus. Body Mind & Spirit supports emotional resilience, stress management and concentration.
