The Educational Psychology Department comprises six professionals in child psychology, learning difficulties and special education. It focuses on action to ensure student care and wellbeing and collaborates with tutors, teachers and families to support each pupil's learning. The welfare, happiness and wellbeing of pupils are central to the department's work.
The Educational Psychology Department provides services for SEN, Specific Learning Difficulties, Gifted and Talented pupils, and other Special Educational Needs. Since 2008, Agora Portals has operated the Student Care Programme, focused on helping children with specific learning difficulties, with action plans and close collaboration among pupils, families and staff. The department uses structured, cumulative, multi-sensory intervention programmes with tailored resources to ensure meaningful access to learning and progress toward goals, and it offers family and teacher support.
The school offers a multilingual educational project with linguistic immersion beyond English, enabling students to master their official language alongside English, French, German or Chinese. International events, exchanges and stays are available to support language development.
Body Mind & Spirit focuses on tools to combat emotional fatigue, adapting to change, empathy, stress management, tolerance, resilience and concentration. The Guidance and Educational Psychology Department provides a differential service addressing individual educational needs and diversity, collaborating with families to achieve educational excellence. The welfare, happiness and wellbeing of the pupil is at the heart of the school's work.
Agora Portals International School is a private international school in Portals Nous, Mallorca, and is part of the Globeducate Group. It offers an IB Continuum from Early Years to the Diploma Programme (PYP, MYP, DP) and includes a German Curriculum, serving ages 0–18. The school is tri-lingual with English as the flagship language and Mandarin Chinese, German and French as additional languages; multilingual immersion supports mastery of at least two languages and develops analytical thinking, information presentation, evaluation and defence of ideas, creative problem solving, knowledge retention and understanding of key concepts. Agora Portals was the first educational centre in the Balearic Islands to offer the Diploma Programme in 2011 and is today the first and only IB Continuum School in the islands.
