The school has a Guidance and Educational Psychology Department made up of two child psychologists, two educational psychologists, and a speech therapist. The department guides and advises parents, pupils, and teachers. It provides personalised attention for pupils, with close, individualised monitoring to design plans that support each pupil's growth, including academic and professional guidance and help with study and homework planning. For new pupils, the department supports teachers, families, and pupils during the transition, aiming for wellbeing and a smooth adaptation. Attention to Diversity prevents, identifies, and responds to the main difficulties that pupils may face, including learning difficulties, emotional difficulties, and high abilities, coordinating with families to support each pupil's development. The department collaborates with families to deliver information through Parents' School conferences, debates, and workshops to contribute to the children's comprehensive development.
The school offers a dedicated Attention to Diversity service through the Psycho-pedagogy Department. The service aims to prevent, identify, and respond to the main difficulties pupils may show during their learning. These difficulties include learning difficulties (attention, laterality, reading and writing), emotional difficulties (peer relationships and classroom behaviour), and high abilities (giftedness and precocity). The Psycho-pedagogy Department conducts psycho-diagnostic assessments and coordinates action and monitoring plans with families and tutors. For high-ability pupils, there is a collaboration with the Javier Berché Foundation, providing support and teacher training to optimise skills. The department works with families and teachers to enhance each pupil's skills and monitors progress to ensure individualised support.
The curriculum is multilingual, focusing on achieving complete fluency in English and official languages, and offering Chinese, French and German at various stages. Lessons are delivered in English, Castellano and Catalan at every stage of the curriculum. Language immersion begins in Preschool with English from 0-2 years; from ages 3-5, more English vocabulary and oral comprehension are introduced as part of pre-reading. From P4 to Year 4, pupils study Mandarin Chinese, which can be continued as an extracurricular activity, and in Year 5 pupils choose between French or German. The school is an authorised examinations centre for Trinity College London and the University of Cambridge English Language qualifications, the Goethe Institute for German, the Confucius Institute for Mandarin Chinese, and the DELF for French.
The natural environment around the campuses supports the practice of sporting activities, helping students develop perseverance, self-improvement, teamwork and cooperation, and enhancing social skills. Sport is an integral part of the curriculum, fostering healthy habits and an active lifestyle to help students become physically and emotionally balanced adults. The psychomotor development of children in the early years supports progress in cognitive, linguistic and social development, and is encouraged through sensory exploration in the infant schools. The school provides weekly swimming sessions for Infant and Primary stages and participates in leagues and events, promoting a broad range of physical activity. The canteen follows nutritionist guidance and can adapt menus for allergies or special diets, with the Allergy Protection Certificate validating food-safety protocols. Outdoor and experiential learning are also promoted as contributors to mental health and wellbeing.
The three campuses have the S+ Child Safety Certificate, the highest international distinction for infant schools. The Guidance and Educational Psychology Department provides safeguarding-oriented support, guiding and advising parents, pupils and teachers. The department collaborates with families through Parents' School conferences and workshops to contribute to safeguarding and the comprehensive development of pupils. All three campuses hold the S+ Child Safety Certificate, reflecting strong safeguarding standards across facilities and operations.
