English is introduced from P3 through Batxillerat. In primary, French and German are introduced. In ESO, English and German are taught by native teachers. The school offers the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme across Primary, ESO, and Batxillerat (pending authorization).
English is the main language of instruction. The school uses an immersion, learning, and consolidation progression for language development from the early years through Batxillerat. In the primary stage, French and German are introduced.
English immersion begins in P3 and is integrated into daily life. The infant stage P3–P5 is an immersion phase, with the classroom teacher speaking in English in the early years. 80% of instructional time in early education, 55% in primary, and 40% in ESO and Batxillerat are delivered in English. There are international exchanges.
Anne Sullivan International School Barcelona is a private K–12 IB World School serving ages 3–18. The curriculum covers IB PYP, MYP and DP, with English as the main language of instruction and a phased immersion model moving from immersion to learning to consolidation; in primary, French and German are introduced.
