Spanish Language and Culture is included as part of the Spanish national curriculum for Grades 1–10. The IB Diploma Program provides language options including Spanish, English and French within its six subject groups. Lower School emphasizes languages as an indispensable tool for thinking.
Bilingual communication is introduced in Kindergarten 1 (ages 3–4). The preschool program emphasizes bilingual communication in its early years.
Aquinas American School is a Catholic, co‑educational institution in Madrid with two Pozuelo de Alarcón campuses serving ages 3–18 and a residence in Alcorcón for boarding. The high school offers both the International Baccalaureate Diploma (IB) and the American High School Diploma (AHSD), with SAT testing and UNED coursework to support college admissions in Spain and abroad. The curriculum emphasizes languages, liberal arts and sciences, and the development of analytical, creative and communication skills, guided by a College Counselor who helps with transcripts and admissions timelines. The Bear House system assigns every student to a Bear House to foster belonging while enabling sport and recreational competition across campuses.
