Arcángel International School

With more than 40 years of experience, Arcángel International School offers a comprehensive education that combines multilingual instruction with collaborative teaching methods. CALMA/CAOS interweaves creativity, the arts, and emotions across all levels. The EMA Music School offers two tracks—Junior Program for ages 4 to 12 and Talent Program from age 12—each including two weekly music classes along with group and individual instruction. In ESO, students explore visual arts and deepen their engagement with music or theatre.

Arcángel provides the International Baccalaureate Continuum for ages 3 to 19, focusing on a learner profile that includes ten attributes such as inquiry, knowledgeable, thinkers, communicators, principled, open-minded, caring, risk-takers, balanced, and reflective. The language project integrates official bilingual programs, double-degree opportunities, overseas stays, and preparation for internationally recognized certifications. The Dual American Bachillerato is available online through Academica International Studies, with courses taught entirely in English. From 5th grade onward, students may participate in abroad immersion experiences at partner UK schools, with additional long-term stays in the UK, Ireland, the US, Canada, and New Zealand. Arcángel also serves as an official examination center for Cambridge and DELF, and it hosts Trinity and Oxford Test of English examinations.

A broad range of after-school activities is offered, including languages, the EMA music program, and a sports club, accessible to the entire school community and external students. The program includes activities such as music, movement, storytelling, and sports, with schedules for primary and secondary students. The EMA music program features Junior and Talent tracks with two weekly music classes and instrument study, alongside other culture and activity options available after school.

Going Green mobilizes the entire school community toward environmental awareness and action aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals, and the school is recognized as an EcoSchool with the Green Flag. A school garden is maintained as part of environmental education, engaging students from the earliest years. Alameda Contigo is a framework that supports ongoing collaboration between families and the school.

Sherpa provides personalized guidance for students' academic and professional trajectories from ESO through Bachillerato, including information on national and international itineraries and practical experiences. Psychometric testing with artificial intelligence helps identify strengths and vocations, and alumni connections and the Conecta Arcángel initiative link students with former students and professionals.

Bienestar centers on prevention and emotional support, with a Tutorial Action Plan and individualized follow-up across all levels from Infantil to Bachillerato. The orientation department offers programs on emotional management and social skills, as well as targeted support for high-ability students through the Sophia program and for students with special educational needs. The CALMA/CAOS project integrates music and art to support wellbeing, while the Club Deportivo provides multiple sports and extensive facilities, including an indoor pool and gym spaces.
