Boarding, Uniform and Food

Daily life details and school culture

Uniform Requirement

All students from Early Years to Sixth Form wear the official Bellver uniform. This includes daily uniform with Bellver-branded polo shirts, trousers/shorts or skirts, and jumpers/cardigans; seasonal options; PE kit; and a smart dress code for formal occasions or school trips. A detailed uniform list is available from the school office, including information on required items and purchasing details.

Food Options

Hot, nutritious lunches are offered daily, freshly prepared in the in-house kitchen. The service is optional for secondary school. Primary pupils receive a healthy mid-morning and afternoon snack provided by the school. Menus follow Spanish nutrition guidelines, with vegetarian options and dietary accommodations available.

House System

There are four Houses: Mallorca, Menorca, Ibiza, and Formentera. Every student and staff member is assigned to a House, and Houses compete in Sports Day, academic and creative challenges, charity fundraising, and house-point scoring.

Governance and Ownership

Bellver International College is owned by a group of local entrepreneurs (Yuliya Radko, Colm Killeen, and former student Michael Schwallback) after ownership passed in 2025 from Stephanie Muirhead; the school is now Bellver College.

Bellver College provides a British education for pupils aged 3 to 18, following English National Curriculum from Early Years through A-Levels. English is language of instruction, with Spanish and Catalan integration to support bilingual readiness in Cambridge Primary. Early Years (3–5) uses play-based learning to develop literacy, numeracy and emotional development. Primary (5–11) adapts the Cambridge Primary framework to international context. Secondary (11–16) leads to IGCSE examinations, while Sixth Form (16–18) offers A-Levels with personalised university guidance for UK, Spanish and worldwide universities. The campus comprises buildings for Early Years, Primary and Secondary, Sixth Form study room, a science laboratory, an art studio and a concert hall. A partnership with Princesa de España Sports Centre provides a field, an athletics track and an Olympic-size pool. The school runs overseas trips and a sailing programme, and celebrated its 75th anniversary in 2025 after adopting Bellver College identity and modernising facilities.
