English is the language of instruction; Spanish is taught as a required language for K3–12. The school supports multilingualism with many languages spoken outside of the classroom.
The primary language of instruction is English. All classes are taught in English by native English-speaking teachers. Spanish language classes are required for students from K3 through Grade 12, and external language immersion classes are offered before and after school.

Brewster Madrid is an American international school in Madrid that offers an American High School Diploma with AP courses and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IB DP). Instruction is in English, with Spanish language classes required for K3–12 and immersion options. The school operates across two Madrid campuses: Chamberí Main Campus (K1–10) in central Madrid and La Moraleja Campus (K1–11) in Alcobendas, connected by a Pre-University Hub for grades 11–12. Brewster Madrid is authorized by the Spanish Ministry of Education and accredited as an American school by NEASC, with IB authorization granted in 2024; Chamberí is the IB DP site, while La Moraleja is a Candidate School for IB DP. With about 250 students across 34 nationalities and an average class size of 15, the program emphasizes student-centered, experiential learning. It includes over 130 Learning Expeditions, 20+ after-school activities, and a broad range of clubs, sports, and service opportunities globally.
