British Royal School offers the British curriculum taught by native English-speaking teachers and complements it with Spanish curriculum subjects to obtain both British and Spanish qualifications. The Admissions Department is open year-round and welcomes visits; families are encouraged to visit the school and discuss the curriculum and observe the learning environment. A Day of Trial is offered so children can join a class of their age and experience a typical day at the school. The five-step admissions process is: 1. Consultation, 2) Visit to the school, 3) Day of Trial or online assessment/interview, 4) Offer of a place, 5) Enrollment. The majority of students join in September, and early admission is advised to guarantee a place.
British Royal School is a private secular school in Madrid offering education for ages 2 to 18. Instruction is conducted in English, while Spanish and Galician are taught as part of a bilingual program to meet regional requirements. From Year 3 onward, students may choose French, German, or Chinese as language options. The campus opened in 2016 and includes nursery and reception classrooms, a 300-square-meter library, a computer room, a dedicated music area, a greenhouse, a football pitch, an indoor gym, and outdoor play spaces. The school offers after-school activities such as Robotics, Art, Sports, Oratory, Music, Swimming, and Judo, delivered by BRS teachers or external specialists.
