The SEN and Psychopedagogical Departments coordinate to support emotional well being, cognitive development and academic progress. British School Alzira, Xàtiva and Gandia appoint a SENCO to lead the SEN Department, with Beatriz Pabón, ensuring that each student receives the necessary support to reach their maximum potential. The SENCO coordinates care for students with special educational or specific learning needs, ensuring their full inclusion in school life. Its main functions include detecting and evaluating individual needs; designing and coordinating individualized Individual Education Plans (IEPs); advising and accompanying teachers to apply inclusive strategies in the classroom; maintaining direct communication with families; collaborating with the Psychopedagogical Department and other external specialists when additional support is required; and monitoring compliance with the British curriculum standards for inclusion and attention to diversity. The SEN service operates on three pillars: early detection and continuous evaluation; personalized planning and follow up; and collaborative work with families and professionals. The SEN team works in coordination with teaching staff and specialists to offer comprehensive care that combines emotional well being, cognitive development and academic support, fostering autonomy, self esteem and active participation in school life.
English is the main language of instruction and is used naturally in everyday learning. Complete linguistic immersion is provided from pre-nursery to Year 13. Students also receive lessons in Spanish Language and Culture to ensure full proficiency in both languages and to support their integration in both international and national contexts. Spanish and other languages are gradually introduced to ensure balanced linguistic development appropriate to each age group. Students can start at British School Alzira from early years, usually from the age of 2 or 3, with English as the main language of instruction throughout the learning journey.

The School Nursing Service provides the presence of the School Nurse on site, offering a health reference and immediate professional action when needed. The nurse attends to daily queries and reports on health incidents, and the infirmary is fully equipped to provide quality health care. Nursing services include first health care in case of discomfort or accident, medication management following established protocols, and health care and monitoring for students with pathology or allergies, with advice to parents on health issues. To support health management, students are registered in an Online Health Platform for health records and medication administration. Safety education includes emergency response training such as Year 1 pupils learning how to react in an emergency with Call 112, and health education workshops such as clean hands to promote healthy habits.
British School Alzira delivers the British Curriculum, Cambridge IGCSE and Cambridge A Levels for students aged 0 to 18. Early Years (0–5), Primary (5–11), Secondary (11–16) and Sixth Form (16–18) form the stages. The school has taught the British Curriculum since 1997 through a student-centred approach and is part of the British School Group with campuses in Alzira, Xàtiva and Gandía. In Sixth Form, AS/A2 examinations lead to British and Spanish Baccalaureate Certificates, as the school is an Official Examination Centre, with a mix of British and Spanish subjects for the PCE. A university-orientation service supports university access. The campus covers 64,000 m2 in buildings. The larger building houses Early Years through Secondary; the smaller hosts Sixth Form. Both facilities feature digital technology in classrooms and offices, while sports facilities include an indoor pavilion, three pools, tennis courts, a soccer field and climbing wall.
