In secondary education, students can take Cambridge University exams: B2 First (FCE) in 3rd ESO and C1 Advanced (CAE) in 4th ESO.
Our model prepares students to take on the Baccalaureate with guarantees of success, and includes tutoring and personalised interviews, plus academic and vocational guidance to support personal development.
Weekly tutoring sessions led by the class teacher give students the chance to be more self-aware, to better understand and manage their emotions, and to practice a wide variety of interpersonal skills.
Guidance works closely with teachers to identify students with potential learning needs, recommends psycho-pedagogical evaluations when necessary to determine the nature of the student's needs, and works with teachers to develop individual educational plans (IEP) when necessary. It offers individual and/or group support to students who require it and schedules meetings with families to get involved in the academic process of all the students.
English is used as a means of communication throughout the day by students and school personnel. Starting from Year 3 of primary school, our students' English proficiency is externally accredited by Cambridge Assessment English. The constant interaction with a multicultural teaching team, who have lived and worked in foreign countries, helps students develop an excellent knowledge and understanding of Anglo-Saxon culture as well as the English language.
The emotional well-being of students is of crucial importance; the school's priority is to ensure they are happy and feel safe so that learning can happen naturally.
