English and Spanish are the primary languages of instruction. From 5th Primary, French or German classes are available (2 or 3 sessions per week); in Secondary, three classes per week of French or German are offered. The IB programme is available, and Cambridge exams are offered; DELF and Goethe certifications are supported for language learners.
The school is bilingual with English and Spanish as core languages. 2-3 year olds are completely immersed in English; 4-5 year olds' programme becomes bilingual, with 8 periods of Spanish at age 4 and 13 periods of Spanish at age 5. The International Baccalaureate (IB) programme is implemented from early years, beginning at 3 years old.
Language learning is delivered through immersive methods, with English language immersion in Early Years and extensive English instruction in Primary. AI Language Academy offers English, French, German and Italian with highly personalised, native-teacher instruction.
Colegio Internacional Aravaca is a bilingual day school in Spain for ages 2 to 18. It offers the International Baccalaureate continuum alongside Cambridge IGCSE, and is the only school in the area to offer the full IB pathway. From Early Years, English and Spanish immersion is woven into every stage; Primary integrates the Spanish curriculum with the PYP; Secondary delivers National Baccalaureate studies with the MYP; and 16–18 year-olds may choose between the Spanish Baccalaureate or the IB Diploma Programme. A Life Skills and Future Pathways program provides guidance for university and careers, including exclusive scholarships with renowned institutions.
