Colegio Internacional Meres is a private Asturian centre in Meres, Asturias, delivering the IB continuum (PYP, MYP, DP) alongside elements of the Spanish national curriculum for learners from early childhood through secondary education. The school serves students from ages 3 to 18 and emphasizes critical thinking, self-discipline and teamwork to develop multidisciplinary, global and resilient individuals. Founded in 1966, Meres International School is the only private Asturian centre officially accredited as an IB World School and was among the first in Spain to achieve this status. The campus sits in a natural environment with over 150,000 square metres of sports facilities and 9,000 square metres of classrooms and learning spaces. Facilities include an Agora classroom for oral activities, an Art & Creativity area, science laboratories for Physics & Chemistry and Biology & Geology, plus Early Childhood spaces designed for active learning. A four-week Meres Sport Campus and a broad range of STEAM and arts activities enrich the year round curriculum.
