We admit students of all nationalities, provided they meet the linguistic and academic prerequisites for the respective grade level. Access: Kindergarten from 3 years old (no language prerequisites); Primary school: Grades 1–4; Secondary I & II: Grades 5–12 (German International Abitur; Haupt- and Realschulabschluss also possible). Information meeting: In a personal conversation we inform you about our school profile, the curriculum, the daily routine and the admission procedure. 3. Admission decision: At the beginning of March we begin admitting applicants for Kindergarten. In higher grade levels, admissions are carried out according to the availability of places. Important dates: Application start: Applications are accepted year-round. Application deadline: End of February for Kindergarten. For later inquiries we consider individual solutions within the framework of available places. Deutsche Schule Málaga is an independent private school in Málaga that belongs to the global network of official German Auslandsschulen and is supported by Germany in staffing and funding. It is recognized by both the German and Spanish Ministries of Education. The school offers a bilingual German–Spanish curriculum for ages 3 to 18 and prepares students for the Deutsches Internationales Abitur, with campuses for Kindergarten, Grundschule, Sekundarstufe I, and Oberstufe/Sekundarstufe II. The campus sits on a hillside surrounded by pine and cork trees; facilities include professional science laboratories, purpose-built spaces for music and art, and a modern cafeteria, all connected by a fiber-optic network for multimedia teaching. Nine bus lines serve the Málaga–Estepona area. The school fosters intercultural exchange and European thinking through language learning, international cooperation, and exchanges with a partner school in Germany. In 2022, it received the Excellent German Auslandsschule quality seal for the third time overall.
