Deutsche Schule Malaga

The Deutsche Schule Málaga is located at C. Velazquez, 1-5, 29612 Ojón, Málaga. It sits on the Costa del Sol in Málaga province. Nine bus lines cover the Málaga–Estepona coast, and student transport is GPS-tracked.

School meals

- Annual meal contribution (for Classes 2–12): €1,325.00 — monthly equivalent €132.50. (Note: meals are included for Kindergarten and Year 1 as stated under those year-group fees.)

Other potential costs

- School uniform: School uniform is mandatory and is supplied through the school's designated uniform supplier. Specific uniform rules and the supplier are designated by the school.
- Additional separate charges may apply for excursions, extracurricular activities, canteen, school transport and other optional services.

Billing schedule and payment terms

- Standard billing: Tuition is charged monthly in advance and collected by direct debit from the bank account designated for this purpose. Collection occurs on the 5th day of the month by bank direct debit. Cash payment of tuition fees is not accepted.
- Instalment counts: Most year groups are billed as 10 monthly instalments; Year 12 uses 8 instalments. The instalment amounts shown above reflect those schedules.
- Annual-payment option: Parents may pay the entire year's tuition in a single advance payment; in that case the deposit requirement is waived. The annual invoice must be paid by bank transfer by 15 August following receipt of the annual invoice.
- Late payment penalties: A monthly reminder fee of €10 is charged for any payment default. Overdue interest is charged at 15% per annum from the first day of delinquency until payment. Payments are allocated to the oldest outstanding invoices. Repeated non-payment may lead to immediate exclusion from school attendance and withholding of school reports until outstanding amounts are settled.

Cancellation and refund rules

- Enrollment and deposit payment: The enrollment fee and the deposit must be paid before the pupil's start at the school; payment makes the place binding.
- Refund of enrollment fee on cancellation prior to first attendance:
- Cancellation at least four months before planned school entry: 80% refund of the enrollment fee.
- Cancellation less than four months before planned entry: 50% refund of the enrollment fee.
- Cancellation later than three weeks before planned start: no refund of the enrollment fee.
- Deposit refund and conditions: The deposit is repaid only after the family's last child has left the school and only upon written request. Outstanding school-fee claims at the time of departure are offset against the deposit. The deposit repayment claim expires five years after the departure of the last child. The deposit is not interest-bearing.
- Termination notice: Withdrawal from the school can only take effect at the end of a calendar month and must be given in writing at least 30 days in advance; failure to meet this notice period triggers an obligation to pay one month's fee. Identical notice conditions apply to use of school bus and school meals.

Boarding fees

- Boarding: Not applicable. Deutsche Schule Málaga operates as a day school and does not list boarding facilities or boarding fees.

Fee payment options

- Bank direct debit (standard): monthly tuition instalments are collected by SEPA-style bank direct debit on the 5th of each month from the designated account.
- Bank transfer: full annual tuition may be paid by bank transfer by the stated deadline; the school provides IBAN and BIC for transfers. Cash payment of tuition is not accepted. No credit-card payment method is specified in the published fee information.
