The school has a sports uniform. From October 2025, wearing sports clothing is mandatory for physical education, excursions, and cultural events. For children in KiKRI, wearing sports clothing is voluntary. The school uniform can be purchased at GUAYARMINA TEXTIL S.L. in Santa Cruz de Tenerife; store hours and prices are provided.
The canteen is operated by ARAMARK SERVICIOS DE CATERING, S.L.U. Meals can be registered online via the El Gusto de Crecer platform. Prices are 5.70€ per day for Kikri and 6.80€ per day for KiGa and school; monthly menus are published through the app; special diets (Schonkost) are available on request with a doctor's note. Butterbrotessen offers a supervised lunch for students bringing their own sandwiches, with monthly rates (4€ for 1 day/week, 8€ for 2 days/week, 12€ for 3 days/week, 16€ for 4 days/week, 20€ for 5 days/week) and extra days billed at 1.50€ per day; registration is required.
DST is an independent foreign private school recognized by the Spanish state. It is personnel- and financially supported by the German Federal Foreign Office and is recognized and supervised by KMK (Standing Conference of the Ministers of Education and Cultural Affairs). Since 2010, it has held the Exzellente Deutsche Auslandsschule quality seal.
Deutsche Schule Santa Cruz de Tenerife is a German Auslandsschule recognized by the KMK, serving learners aged 1–18 with a bespoke German international curriculum from kindergarten through upper secondary. The school is bilingual, preparing students for German and Spanish university entrance (Abitur and EBAU). In Grundschule German is taught six hours weekly and Spanish five to six, with General Studies, Mathematics, Art, Music, Sport, Ethics/Religion and a Spanish integration phase for new German students. In Sekundarstufe I and II, 21 subjects are offered; from Grade 9 students may choose between French or Informatics plus Geography, and from Grade 10 there are additional options in arts and sciences. Languages include German, Spanish, English (from Grade 3) and French (from Grade 9). Exzellente Deutsche Auslandsschule accreditation was awarded in 2010 and 2016. A Tababa Alta campus opened in 1999. Facilities include digital room technology, a learning platform, a library and a multiprofessional inclusion team. After-school activities include UCMAS, chess, hip-hop, drawing, CreaMúsica, Banda, soccer and karate.
