Admissions

How to apply, waitlist information, and financial support

Admissions Process

1. Digital registration. Fill the central online form. The entire process is conducted via Phidias, the school's online platform. Access Phidias via the header and footer of the site.

2. Submission of documents. Submit documents such as birth certificate, passport copy, vaccination record, and school reports. These documents support the application and are processed as part of the admissions procedure. The admissions team reviews the materials internally.

3. Internal review. The school administration and the pedagogical team perform an internal review of the application. The outcome depends on available capacity, the child's age, and the desired entry grade. This review determines whether the application moves to the next step.

4. Admission interview or trial day. Depending on capacity, age, and desired entry, the school conducts an admission interview or a trial day. This step follows the internal review and helps assess fit for the program. The timing may vary with openings.

5. Decision and school contract. If a place is available and the feedback is positive, a confirmation is issued and the contract is signed. Placement is not automatic with receipt of the application. Families are informed in writing of the decision.

6. Processing fee. Before data submission, a processing fee of 150€ per family applies (for registrations from KG2 to class 11). The fee covers the processing of the application and does not guarantee a place. The fee is non-refundable. (Payment is made via the Ticketshop Verwaltungsgebühr link.)

7. Online application after payment. After payment, you can enter your data into the application form (one parent). Once payment and data are verified, you will be contacted within 5 working days by email to register on Phidias and access the application process. Phidias access enables you to participate in the ongoing admissions workflow.

8. Deadlines and responses. Application deadlines for the first half-year are September; for the second half-year, end of January. Application deadlines are 15 April and 15 October. The DSV responds in mid-May for the first half-year and mid-November for the second half-year.

9. Placement. Admission is not automatic with receipt of the application. Each application is carefully reviewed. Families are informed in writing of the decision.
