The campus sits in Benimaclet, Valencia and covers about 14,270 m², offering differentiated learning environments for all educational stages from Kindergarten to upper secondary. Since early 2026, the Kindergarten is housed in a newly built, modern wing on the campus. The Kindergarten includes six group rooms for ages 3–5, four preschool rooms, adjacent wash areas and cloakrooms, a movement room, communal spaces, staff rooms, and direct access to an outdoor area with a playground, garden, climbing frame and sandbox, plus a dining area integrated with the groups. The Primary School is in its own building with ten modern classrooms, group work spaces, science rooms, a library, direct access to the playground, and a connection to the cafeteria. The Gymnasium operates in a new building with 40 classrooms and subject rooms, science spaces for biology, chemistry and physics, and dedicated spaces for languages, social sciences, music, art, ethics and philosophy, as well as a library and meeting rooms. The master plan outlines phased development, including the Kindergarten expansion completed in early 2026 and planned renovations to the primary building and sports facilities in the coming years.
Movement is a fixed part of the school day, supported by strong facilities: a large gym of 747 m² for all levels, an outdoor sports field for football and basketball and for breaks, and a movement area for the Kindergarten. There are additional communal spaces and quiet zones on the campus to foster a sense of community and well-being during breaks and after activities.
There are 40 classrooms and specialist rooms with digital equipment. Science laboratories for biology, chemistry and physics, including collection and preparation rooms, are available. There are specialist rooms for languages, social sciences, music, art, ethics and philosophy, as well as a library, meeting rooms, and dedicated spaces for differentiated and independent learning. The spatial concept supports individualized learning and a gentle transition between Kindergarten and the secondary level.
Extracurricular activities form a broad program beyond the classroom. In Kindergarten, after-school options include movement and rhythm, music and singing, and creative activities. In Grundschule, Tallers (afternoon clubs) offer movement and sport, music and theater, and creative and explorative activities, with additional instrumental lessons, chess or Judo available for extra fees. In Gymnasium, a wide range of clubs fosters IT, student journalism, science competitions, choir and orchestra, and optional activities such as robotics, tinkering, dance, chess or various sports. Deutsche Schule Valencia is a German international school in Valencia, Spain, offering a bespoke curriculum for ages 3–18. The school guides students from Kindergarten through Gymnasium (grades 5–12) toward the German International Abitur (DIA) with a staged approach: Orientation Phase emphasizes settling in, middle years deepen subject work and personal development, and final years focus on Abitur preparation and career orientation.
