The German School Valencia is carried by the German School Association. This non‑profit association provides the legal and organizational framework for the school. It ensures long-term development, financial stability, and supports the pedagogical work. Tasks of the School Association include: the strategic and economic orientation of the school; investments in buildings, equipment, and modernization; promotion of projects that enrich learning and school life; and cooperation with German and Spanish partner institutions. Thus the association contributes decisively to keeping the German School Valencia as a future‑proof German international school. The Board is elected by the members of the German School Association. It implements the resolutions of the general assembly and works closely with the school leadership and the school community. Members serve on a voluntary basis and bring their experience and expertise to the association's leadership. Membership and participation: Membership in the German School Association is voluntary. Parents and interested individuals can join and pay an annual membership fee. By joining, they directly support the school's development and can participate in the annual general meeting and influence decisions. Deutsche Schule Valencia is a German international school in Valencia, Spain, offering a bespoke curriculum for ages 3–18. The school guides students from Kindergarten through Gymnasium (grades 5–12) toward the German International Abitur (DIA) with a staged approach: Orientation Phase emphasizes settling in, middle years deepen subject work and personal development, and final years focus on Abitur preparation and career orientation. Languages: English begins Grade 5; Valencian follows regional guidelines; bilingual instruction in German and Spanish is offered, with Valencian taught per Comunitat Valenciana. From Grade 5, differentiated learning paths with extension opportunities and real-world experiences, including a Grade 8 German exchange and a Grade 10 internship, are available. The campus sits in Benimaclet, spans about 14,270 m², and has separate Kindergarten, Primary, and Gymnasium buildings, expanded in 2026. Facilities include a large gym, outdoor field, science labs, libraries, and specialized rooms; a diverse extracurricular program is offered through Phidias.
