Language Provision

Languages taught are Spanish and English. English is the language of instruction for all learning, with Spanish, Mathematics and Religion taught in some subjects. Nursery children spend more than half a day in English with native or bilingual teachers and learn to read and write with Jolly Phonics. In Middle School and High School, English is consolidated in small groups to support Cambridge certificates, and Edelweiss is an Addvantage member and a British Council examination centre.

Bilingual Teaching

The school offers a bilingual Spanish-English program. English is taught at a bilingual level with teachers specialized in teaching English to Spanish-speakers. The vast majority of students leave with a Cambridge-certified Advanced level (C1).

Immersion Programs

At least 50% of time spent at the school is immersed in English, with native or fully bilingual teachers. A high percentage of 2nd Bachillerato students finish with Cambridge certificates (C1 and C2).
