English is the language of instruction for English/Language Arts and other core subjects, aligned to US Common Core standards. ES American School is an international school serving students from 1st through 12th grade with campuses in Barcelona, Spain, and Naples, Florida. The school offers an American curriculum integrated with IB Primary Years Programme (PYP) at Elementary level and a university-preparatory High School program granting an American Diploma. Students may also take Advanced Placement (AP) courses, enabling college‑level study within the American system. Elementary program is an IB World School, while Middle School emphasizes inquiry, collaboration, and creativity to prepare students for high school. The curriculum follows Florida Department of Education guidelines and can be homologated to Spanish system for university access. The campus sits about 20 minutes from Barcelona, with on-site horse riding facilities, tennis courts, a gym, a Sports Science Facility, a swimming pool, a pond, a restaurant, and a library offering English, Spanish, and Catalan texts.
