5 steps process:
1. Request an interview: Contact our admissions office to arrange an initial interview regarding your child and to find out about the availability of places in their age group.
2. Visit CEM: Explore our school by either embarking on a guided tour led by our admissions manager or attending one of our Open Days. You'll meet our teachers and leadership team members, gain insights into the school's daily activities and experience the dynamic atmosphere of our educational community.
3. Interview and level test: We facilitate a meeting between the student and the head of the respective department, who will administer a level test for students in year 5 or above.
4. Enrolment: If suitable spots are open, and we find CEM to be a good match for your child, we'll extend an official offer. You can then confirm your enrolment within a specified timeframe.
5. Admissions documentation: If you accept the offer, you will then be requested to complete the admissions enrolment documents and pay the admission fee to secure your child's admission.
Registration period is open throughout the year.

Excellence Scholarships: The school offers four Excellence Scholarships in each level (Secondary and Baccalaureate). The scholarships are awarded for the following academic year and consist of discounts on the school fee: 50% discount for the best academic record in the course, 25% discount for the next two best records, and 10% discount for the fourth best record.
Eligibility: must be enrolled in ESO or 1st Bachillerato during the convoc year and must be a student of Colegio Europeo de Madrid.
Disciplinary: no grave or very grave faults during the convoc year.
Economic: if a family has special conditions, the school will choose the best option; these discounts are not cumulative or transferable.
Academic requirements:
• 1st ESO (PAI): be among the four best records for the course, with a minimum grade of 5 in any subject; all subjects must have been passed in the first call; three foreign languages are studied.
• 2nd ESO to 1st Bachillerato: be among the four best records for the course, with a minimum grade of 7 in any subject; all subjects must have been passed in the first call; three foreign languages are studied (except for 4th ESO, which requires three languages or two languages and Technology).
Tie-breakers: (a) greater number of subjects with final grade Matrícula de Honor; if tied, continue with grades 10, 9, 8, etc.; (b) more siblings enrolled in the school; (c) in case of persistent ties, the faculty decides by simple majority with the director's casting vote if needed.
Procedure: after final June grades are submitted, scholarships are awarded based on the stated criteria; once the list of scholarship recipients is published, appeals may be lodged within 15 natural days; scholarships are awarded for the following academic year; if a family declines, the scholarship is declared void; the school reserves the right to withdraw the scholarship for non-compliance with commitments.
If a family does not want their child to participate, they must notify in writing before the end of May in the convocatoria year.
Participation implies consent to publish the resolution with the recipient's name and image.
Commitments of the scholarship recipient: no subject may be failed during the scholarship period; maintain appropriate behavior with no grave or very grave faults; participate in external academic competitions on behalf of Colegio Europeo de Madrid; failure to meet commitments leads to revocation of the scholarship.
