Application and reservation fees
- Annual reservation of place (non-refundable): EUR 500 for Year 2–Year 6; EUR 800 for Year 7–Year 13.
- Refundable deposit on acceptance: EUR 1,000 (returned provided the school receives at least three months' written notice from the family during the months specified and there are no outstanding fees).
Tuition fees by year group (per term and per year, academic year September 2025–June 2026)
- Year 2, Year 3, Year 4, Year 5, Year 6:
- Per term (each term): EUR 3,775.
- Total annual (sum of three terms): EUR 11,325.
- Annual payment (full-year payment with 3% discount applied): EUR 10,985.
- Optional school lunch: EUR 460 per term; EUR 1,340 per year.
- Year 7, Year 8, Year 9, Year 10, Year 11, Year 12, Year 13:
- Per term (each term): EUR 3,950.
- Total annual (sum of three terms): EUR 11,850.
- Annual payment (full-year payment with 3% discount applied): EUR 11,495.
- Optional school lunch: EUR 595 per term; EUR 1,735 per year.
Billing schedule and payment terms
- Reservation of place payment due by 31 January 2025.
- Term payments (standard schedule): Term 1 due before 1 August 2025; Term 2 due before 1 December 2025; Term 3 due before 1 March 2026.
- Annual full-year payment (if chosen) to be paid before 1 July 2025; the 3% discount applies only to full-year payments.
- Fees for students joining during the academic year are prorated; the annual reservation of place fee must be paid in full.
Boarding fees
- Boarding is not applicable; no boarding fees are listed in the school's published fee schedules for the current school-year documents.
Other costs and recurring fees
- Secondary book rental fee: EUR 200 for secondary students (applies as a textbook rental/subscription charge for certain year groups). External examination fees (IGCSE, IB) are not included in tuition and are charged separately. Primary and secondary trips and excursions are not included in listed tuition. Notebooks are provided and accident insurance is included (as noted in the school fee information). Uniforms are to be purchased from the specified retailer named in school communications.
Refund information
- The annual reservation of place fee is non-refundable.
- The EUR 1,000 deposit paid on acceptance is refundable provided the family gives the required written notice (minimum three months' notice within the specified months of the school year) and there are no outstanding fees.
- For students who join during the school year, fees are prorated but the reservation fee remains payable in full.
Payment options and surcharges
- The school's published material specifies payment deadlines and the availability of full-year, termly or prorated payments. The school's earlier fee notices also state that monthly payment plans can be arranged on request and that a surcharge may apply to alternative payment schedules; families should follow the school's published payment instructions when confirming a place.
Notes on proration and non-payment
- If a family fails to meet payment obligations, the school reserves the right to withdraw a student's place or to restrict attendance until fees are brought up to date.
- For students who do not pay the deposit (older arrangements), the school requires written three-month notice during the school year to finalize payment obligations. Reimbursements are processed according to the school's refund timetable as stated in the fee documents.
Green Valley School offers a through-line international education for ages 1 to 18, delivering the British Curriculum, Cambridge IGCSE, and the IB Diploma Programme.
