Billing schedule and payment terms
- Tuition is invoiced and paid in ten instalments across the school year (September through June). Food and transport are usually charged separately and are itemised on the monthly invoice.
- A formal place is confirmed only after the Parent Contract is signed and the registration fee is received. The school operates as an independent day school (no boarding).
Boarding
- Hastings School is an independent day school; there is no boarding provision.
Other costs and optional charges
- Lunch (typically billed separately):
- Pre‑Nursery: EUR 180 (per month).
- Nursery to Year 13: EUR 208 (per month).
- School bus (transport) (typically billed separately):
- One‑way: EUR 182 (per month).
- Return: EUR 226 (per month).
- Optional school trips and extracurricular activities: fees vary by activity and trip and are charged in addition to tuition; these are optional and will be itemised when applicable.
- Sibling discount: a 20% discount applies (to tuition fees, extra‑curricular activities, lunch and transport) for the third youngest child onwards in a family. Discounts for earlier siblings are available as set by the school.
Refund information
- The registration fee is non‑refundable.
- Refunds of other fees (for example tuition, lunches, trips) are governed by the Parent Contract and the school's financial terms and policies; the Parent Contract sets the exact conditions under which any refund may be considered.
Fee payment options and invoicing
- Fees and additional charges are invoiced and itemised (tuition invoiced in ten instalments September–June; food and transport typically appear as separate line items on monthly invoices). Accepted payment methods and exact payment instructions are specified in the Parent Contract and on the invoices issued to parents.

Hastings School offers a British education in the heart of Madrid, operating across six specialized campuses that cater to specific developmental stages. The Paseo de la Habana campus serves as a dedicated Early Years center, providing a secure environment for children aged 2 to 5. Following the English National Curriculum, the school transitions students from the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) through to IGCSEs, A Levels, and the International Baccalaureate Diploma. A defining feature of the school is the "Nexus" Sixth Form campus, which provides a pre-university environment designed to bridge the gap between secondary school and higher education. This campus includes specialized science laboratories and an art studio to support advanced practical work. Additionally, Hastings is recognized for its "British-Spanish Dual Validation," allowing students to meet Spanish university entrance requirements (PCEs) while pursuing international qualifications.
