The school is NEASC-accredited (New England Association of Schools and Colleges), with regular evaluations of education and quality standards. The aim is to accompany children with love and to help them become autonomous human beings who make the world a better place.
Art and handicrafts are basic pillars of Waldorf education. In kindergarten, each day centers on an artistic activity such as watercolor, drawing with crayons, modelling or bread-making to develop sensitivity and the senses, with teachers guiding the process. Summer school includes artistic activities (painting, drawing, modelling, weaving) and songs and movement, as well as contact with nature and a vegetable garden. The Waldorf Shop offers art and handicraft materials (wool, felt, needles, watercolors, crayons) and a selection of children's stories and Waldorf-related books.
UNESCO endorses Waldorf education as the Pedagogy of the 21st Century. Waldorf schools are part of UNESCO's ASPnet network to promote democratic ideals, peace education, multicultural work and solidarity between schools.
Summer school includes songs and movement, cooperative and water games, and artistic activities, providing social and recreational engagement for children.
The school emphasises partnership with families; families are encouraged to participate in school life and celebrations to build community. Teachers hold regular meetings with families to discuss each pupil's intellectual, emotional and social development, fostering a collaborative home–school relationship. Opening the school to families and celebrations fosters cooperation and a sense of community.
The teaching team is committed to ongoing training and works as a team, holding weekly meetings to analyse their work and adapt to each pupil's needs.
The school has large outdoor spaces and small class sizes, with facilities spanning around 6,000 square metres including outdoor areas, an orchard and a swimming pool. Dining is ecological with organic/local options and allergy- or vegan-friendly choices. Afternoon care is available from 15:00 to 16:45, with an extension option and a light afternoon snack.
