Let the school know you're thinking of applying — they can share their prerequisites and help you through the process.
It's best to ask — circumstances can change at any time.
1. Admissions for the 2026-2027 academic year were open from January 13, 2026 to February 14, 2026. New students and those starting the first year in each cycle must complete Module A and Module B. For those entering the first year of secondary education, the Musical Address form must also be completed, subject to Ministry approval. For all other classes, only the Confirmation of Enrollment form (Module C) is required.
2. The enrollment contribution is €160. The forms allow updating student and family data (address, contacts) and, if desired, changing the Catholic religion enrollment option. The school does not use the online enrollment system provided by the Ministry of Education for Italy.
3. For those who opt to pay by bank transfer (domiciliazione bancaria), the charges are as follows: the liceo is charged in April 2026; primary and middle school in March 2026. Payment is to be made to Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria (BBVA) with account name Istituto Italiano Statale Comprensivo di Barcellona; IBAN ES7001824162210208522057; BIC/SWIFT BBVAESMM; use the banking transfer reference “Contributo per iscrizione 2026/2027” plus the student's name. The enrollment contribution covers part of operating costs and is required to support the school's activities.
4. Attachments accompany the enrollment packet: Allegato A is the enrollment form for first-year classes; Allegato B is the declaration of payment method; Allegato C is the enrollment confirmation for the next class; Allegato D contains the scoring criteria for the waitlist. An Iscrizione Corso Musicale attachment is included for first-year enrollment in the secondary cycle. The forms provide guidance on updating data and on the option to change religious instruction. The school's Transparency section will publish major procurement documents, and annual budgets will be published by March 31 each year.
Waiting lists for the 2024/25 school year were published on February 23, 2024. The lists show the position, student name, and points. Waiting lists remain valid until September 2024 to allow ranking and the assignment of places that become available due to withdrawals. Applicants submitted by consular staff or equivalents have absolute precedence at every stage of place assignment. The school secretariat will promptly inform families when enrollment can be finalized upon the availability of the requested place.

The curriculum follows Infanzia (kindergarten), Primaria, and Secondary I and II Grado, with Italian as the main language of instruction and additional Catalan, Spanish and English taught as part of a multilingual program. Primary class hours run around 40 per week; Secondary I Grado and II Grado follow 30–34 and 34–35 hours respectively. The primary and lower secondary campus houses the Italian Paritaria Kindergarten. The school participates in Escoles + Sostenibles environmental education and integrates local subjects to enable recognition by local authorities. Facilities span two campuses hosting primary, lower and upper secondary (including a scientific lyceum) program.
